This was born as an intentional gift that I wanted to put out there into the universe.

After we spend a lot of time in the hospital last year, I witnessed a lot of healthcare burnout. I knew that these workers were doing the best they could, in a system that was overrun. I could relate to how it must have felt for them (irritated, fatigued, always feeling behind, never enough) because I have also felt that as a therapist. 

This is a tool that I hope will help relieve a bit of that, at least the parts that we can control.

One thing that people don't realize is when they're living in auto-pilot. These are our learned habits that help us get through the day, practiced daily and structured for what's needed in our lives.

However, many people don't realize that a lot of the habits that we practice may no longer be helpful but actually could be harming our overall wellness. These are the hidden things that we seemingly don't think about until it's suddenly taken away or modified (like realizing how much we all needed social interaction once that was limited). 

Another way to think of this- If a houseplant is not doing well, what do we do? We don't assume that it's the plants fault. We assume that it's the many factors that surround the plant's environment- water, light, soil, temperature, nutrient balance, etc. We modify these things in order for the plant to be set up for success.
